The conference seeks to examine whether a threshold exists at which point a belligerent occupation ceases to be a mere question of fact and enters into the realm of illegality, amounting to unlawful annexation of occupied territory.

Academics and researchers from Palestine and around the world will present their scholarly research in panels and sessions. With decades of experience defending human rights and leading in legal research and analysis, the organisers consider this a crucial moment for both enquiry and action. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
